Default Need info on Otsego County Fire call sign??

I was listening to the Otsego County Fire Dept last month and I heard the dispatch tell the units in the field on a fire call that "800"is available in case they need him...Is "800"a chief call sign??I know the other call signs as listed in the data base but can someone tell me about call sign "800"?

Thanks,

Ko

As I recall, station 8 is DNR? So a guess would be saying those assets are available?

800 is the dude at the top of the ladder in charge of the EMS medical side in this county. Station 8- DNR fire and 800 are two seperate departments.

Default 800

Yes 800 is at the top of the Laddder. He is the EMS Chief. Jon Deming is his name. Has been there for years. EMS Station 8 is the Heavy Rescue crew.
