Default Talk Group ID 04228 or 4228??

Does anyone know what talkgroup ID 04228 is? I think it is something with EMS. I heard this on my scanner but it is not shown in the list of ID's. Does anyone know where more up-to-date talkgroup ID's are available online?? Thank you

Must be a new unidentified TG. Try to gather more info and submit it for inclusion to the database.

On what system (MPSCS)? If so - what tower did you hear it on? Did they mention any unit numbers or streets or names?

A couple of weeks ago I ran across TG#4228 and TG#5125 listed in green as new TG's. The 5125 is Crawford County moble medical responce dispatch. The 4228 TG was listed as mmr as well and off the Grayling tower I have often heard them talking to Grayling Mercy ER room with patient reports on there way in to the ER. I tagged both in my scanners and now I can find the 5125 in the db but I cannot find 4228 listed anywhere. It is gone for some reason but I got it straight off the db. I have not heard them yet this morning but this week I have on 4228.

4228 is the Paramedic to hospital TG for Grayling Mercy from what i have heard on it. I had a question about the Otsego County Road Commission? They have switched over to their new radios and have not been able to find them. I think they are using the MPSCS but not sure.

Search function on your scanner might a good place to start.

No. As I pointed out above, it's time for you to do a little investigative work. Answering the questions that have been asked of you would help a lot.

Not sure what tower they were on but yes it was MPSCS. I was just wondering how to get more up to date talkgroups. I was thinking there was possibly another website???

Nope. It is you and me that build the database. This site has the most up to date lists.

Ok. Not saying you are wrong but when I submit information the RR, how do they verify that information is correct? Do they just take my word for it or what??

They take your word for it. That's how 99% of the MPSCS database was put together.

And he's not wrong, so don't even say you aren't saying it

I would like to thank everyone at Radio Reference. The data base is awesome and very up to date. The information on the whole website helped me to answer all my questions. I am just getting into using scanners again. I bought a pro-197 about 8 months ago and was amazed at how much different the new scanners are compared to the old scanners. If this website had not been here I probably would have taken it back and gave up. I do not think there is any better websites to look up this kind of information. I do not know how this database was put together but I know I have not found anything that has been wrong yet. If there is something not right I am sure it gets corrected as soon as possible. Thank you very much again.
