Livonia Edacs/ Pro 106 problem

For some reason, my Pro-106 is not getting LPD Event 1 (Tg 275). This has happened twice now, and the patrol desk will go "Go to event 1 for further" and i get none of the conversation. Ive checked the lockout list twice now, and its still clear. Any reason why my scanner will not get event 1?

Is that talkgroup Pro-Voice by chance? I rarely listen to that system, so I don't know...

Could they be using ProVoice? Have you tried scanning it conventionally when it happens?

Ill have to give it a shot conventionally. I know the rest of the event channels work because i record my scanner when im working off of them. Its just event 1, so ill give conventional a try. And if im not mistaken, pro-voice is unscannable correct?

Last I heard they had a few digital channels that use AEGIS, not the newer Pro Voice. Don't know if they are encrypted AEGIS or clear? I don't get over there much to monitor the sys.

EVENT 1 is AEGIS digital voice!!!! You will NOT be able to listen in on this group with any scanner.

At one time there were several digital talkgroups on the Livonia system, but with the exception of Event 1 they seem to have abandoned all of their AEGIS groups.
