I understand the changeover has been completed. Is the old analog TRS still online?

While listening on 12/18 I heard 2752 and 2755(LEIN) on the new simulcast control frequency. The old Columbiaville control frequency 868.9750 was off. Will do some more monitoring the next few days. Will also confirm that the old analog system is shut down.

Lapeer County PD loves to run files on dispatch talk group for some reason. I don't know what's wrong with the pro-197 that provides the feed for Lapeer County it's scanning the new system frequencies but I'm hearing nothing it was working when they did the cutover but now all you hear is the Fire/EMS pager tones

Are they going to use all of the original frequencies that were in use before the change over to digital or are there new frequencies I can program in? I am not hearing any traffic on my PRO-96 from Lapeer except the old analog fire dispatch channel. If someone has the new frequencies could you please post them? Thanks.

The freqs are in the database for the MPSCS system. Scroll thru to the Lapeer Simulcast.

The old analog system is powered off as well as the old MPSCS site equipment.

The old analog TRS had 51 known talkgroups. I suspect now that Lapeer County is on the MPSCS, there should be close to that amount. The older 27xx series talkgroups are from when the MPSCS served as a backup to the old system. They have been changed to MPSCS templating protocol, and new ones were added as needed.

You must not have something programmed right. Been hearing traffic on it for the past week and a half. Yesterday(12/20) was still hearing traffic.

Was still getting the control channel from the old analog system yesterday while driving through eastern Genesee County. But there was no traffic.

What is different? I programmed all of the frequencies as I always did. The scanner always would broadcast traffic and then the talk group was automatically there.

I re-entered all the frequencies you have posted here on this thread and just found out how to add the talk groups. I did this and at the moment am hearing nothing.

OK, now this is getting interesting. I called the Lapeer Radio Shack and a sales person said I will not be able to receive any Lapeer, Flint or MPSCS traffic because the PRO-96 Digital Trunking scanner is not true digital and everything went true digital about 3 days ago. Anyone have any info on this? If so I am basically screwed on scanning.

Ok I got both of my Pro-197's programmed for Lapeer Co digital TRS system and the my computer that provides the feed's for Lapeer Co. took a dump on me so I'm using my computer to provide the Digital TRS but at this time I can't provide the Amateur radio feed. Why do they call that Amateur radio as far as I can tell and heard over my scanner there's nothing Amateur about it.
