If you get a chance, please program those freqs into your scanner and let us know if you are receiving anything, even a continuous data channel?

Default Motorola IDEN?

The trunked radio system's licensed to Aeronautical Radio at airport's in Chippewa, Delta, Dickinson, Gogebic, Houghton and Marquette Counties may be part of a Motorola IDEN trunked radio network.

I will be in the Marquette area next week with my BC796, what does a IDEN system sound like on a analog or digital scanner?

Find a local Nextel site and compare that with audio that you hear up in Marquette, and you should have your answer. Moreover, iDEN systems tend to transmit on all of the frequencies at the same time. Just like an OpenSky system does.
