Default US Border Patrol very active in the U.P.

I just returned from three days in the U.P. One of those days was spent in Sault Ste. Marie (aka, the Soo). It was reasuring to see the US Border Patrol was quite active in the area!

They are on the digital system. Almost everyone up here is on MPSCS.

Fire is about the only thing left on analog.

Actually, I didn't have my scanner with me. I should have said "visible".

In lower Michigan, I still hear them on analog. Along the Windsor / Detroit border, Detroit River, St. Clair River, Port Huron, etc.

163.625MHz

Bill.... You physically saw them?

I guess that would explain all the traffic on the G-EVENT talkgroups theyve been using. I started gettin nosy and they spilled one of their locations. It was off one of the main drags in the southeast UP area. Though I did check a little laugh out of theyre call signs (code names) I eventually got tired of listening to them.
