With rebanding done, a lot of radios were done on Friday, heard today this.
911 says on police-fire vhf channels to use your vhf radios as much as possible until further notice for the radio switchover.

Is there a new control channel for Bay County with this re-brand?

FYI I heard after PD switches County fire will be switching their 154.310 for the County PD freq 155.790 since the County PD towers simulcast and the County fire towers do not.

This will end the issue with all the patching Central has to do..

Wouldnt all the fire pagers have to be re-programmed for 155.790?

Check for a private message ( PM ) in upper right of the page.

LOTS of radio checks daily all over last week, certainly this week.

Ya gotta wonder how many Bay Co scanner listeners will come home tonight and think their scanners are broken.

I predict a Merry Christmas at Radio Shack once they all figure out what happened.

YUP hehe. I had two people call me already asking whats up?!

Anyways I posted in the mpscs thread but pertains here -
After the switch TG 12868 has popped up a few times, definitely Bay City and had a 209 radio ID, talked to 233 on whats his location, then just now someone mentioning about the gate at the barn (dpw gas station).
My gut feeling maybe detectives or a command TG?

I did hear some state police traffic on the vhf around 8 last night, must be a few bugs yet.

12868 when a city officer said to switch to Ch. 3 they appeared on this one and were asking about filling for overtime.
Im thinking this is a Bay City Police Admin channel

2818 is a surveillance for Bay City, most encrypted but I heard one that was in the clear and talking about following someone and describing what they were doing etc. typical surveillance stuff.

239PADMIN = 12826.

Not sure what you're hearing...

Thats Bay City PD Admin then? I suspect a typo as it would be 209. I imagine there might be more PD talkgroups, I suspect there must be one Hampton/Essexville too.

Sounds good. They evidently saw this option before hand and put the new freqs in when they got the new minitor pagers last year (free btw).

Additionally Mclaren has now been exclusively using their digital as well. Putting 155.400 as they do here as depreciated. TBolt will surely work on these as he has done so before reading these hehe.

Very well indeed. Ive programmed a pro 96 the portable version of yours no problem.

Rebading term used here means something different here, but used pertaining this subject is still used correctly.
Other definition thats used here is Rebanding - The RadioReference Wiki
