Hearing Niles PD on 13026! Kinda sounds crappy but still audible.

I was just coming on to post about this! I may only be noticing it in the evening, but I haven't been watching my display carefully yet, but it'll happen. I hope they're on without restrictions (time of day or whatever).

Yeah, the audio is a little below par, but it's better than Cass County's (TG 3148). Now there's some mud! It's probably the best it can be.

I'm really happy to see this.

@whacker, I think you're right. I've noticed them only in the evening for the past 2-3 days. Seems to pick up around 6-7 pm.

Anyone catch the high rise fire in Benton Harbor? I just seen pics, reminds me of something in Chicago or NY. It was going pretty good. Looked like it was the 6th floor.

I did, hear first dispatch, it didn't sound like a big deal when they first arrive, first fire units on the scene ask for St. Joe's Ladder Truck. Within 2 minutes of that request, the tone of the voice of the Command Officer at the Scene Changed!!! . Then He ask for full full response from St. Joe, all Reserve & Off Duty Benton Harbor Firemen!

They are dispatched by Cass County. A friend of mine who is a Ham Radio Operator bought a NXDN Hand held Radio to hear Cass County. It costs him $1500.00.. He did say if He wants to hear Niles City He would have to buy another NSDN for Niles City at $1500.00! WOW!
