Does anybody know where the dispatch center is for the Wayne County Airport Authority Police an Fire is located.

It is off of middlebelt rd right next to the airport.....

I have a hunch that the same dispatcher dispatches the Sheriff and the Airport Authority...sounds like the same person.

But if they are separate, then Eric's right, its in Building 358, which is right in between the Ford Air Transportation building and the Nomads terminal

Its located o the airport grounds, bldg 358, right off middlebelt road. They handle all radio traffic for the sherrif and Airport PD/FD, along with monitoring the county road commision.

There are four consoles in the communications room:
- Sheriff Dispatch
- Airport PD Dispatch
- LEIN (Sheriff and AP)
- Utility (answers incoming phone calls, backs-up other dispatchers when away from their consoles or otherwise busy)

All dispatchers are cross-trained and rotate on a daily basis, so one day you'll hear a given dispatcher on Sheriff Dispatch, then the next they may be on AP Dispatch...the next on LEIN, etc.
