Talking Lansing Area Question About The 396

I am using the ARC396 software to program, I was wondering if there was anyone else in the Lansing area that has any systems they want to share, specifically off the Lansing and or Bath MPSCS towers. I don't have much to share as of yet but I do have a fairly extensive system of Conventional frequencies.. Thanks for lookin

Since you live in the Lansing area, you will probably want to set up a bank in your new scanners to monitor the Ingham County trunked radio system, which is currently online undergoing testing. This will become the primary radio system in the future in Ingham County and the city of Lansing. Currently, it's running in "wide" mode but will be changed once the testing phase is over and the regular subscribers come online.

Default Lansing on APCO 25 800 MHz

I am about 11 miles west of Flint using BCD396T just on the Michigan digital system.
I have heard the Lansing airport several times and the Lansing fire department. You might wish to park on Quick Key 37 (the Michigan system that is programed at the factory) and listen for a while. Make sure to use ID SEARCH so that you will catch any talk-groups.

Hope that this helps. Mac N8TT
