Database has been being updated for the new frequencies,
Michigan's Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS) Trunking System, Statewide, Multi-State - Scanner Frequencies

Rebanding started October 22 and will go till early 2014

They are doing the northern half of MI first.
Weekly updates as to when each county/tower are changing -
MPSCS - Michigan Public Safety Communication System

Rebanding wiki - Rebanding - The RadioReference Wiki

What the database admins for the MPSCS need are the new control frequencies, any tower ID info it shows and if possible using software the alternate frequencies.

Popular decoders-
pro96 com - Pro96Com - Control channel decoder for P25 Trunked Radio Systems
Unitrunker - Unitrunker
Trunk88 - Index of /~phoenix/wap/TRUNK88

Submitted : The first rebanded frequency ! hehe
Arenac county (Sterling) control channel 853.875, alternate 853.3875
Arenac is the only closest one I can get that has rebanded off my 25 foot up discone.

996T showing tower 0796h-0111
the older 868.875 is silent

On the 996T, pro 106, bc 396T, 396XT and pro96 no trunktables used just changed the control channel frequency.

How are the new freqs being identified, in the database, besides the highlighting?

I am thinking about ways to spot the freqs that have changed, so we can manually change the freqs that have been superceded.

Maybe an entry in the Wiki, stating something to the effect of:
"Bumbleshoot County tower X rebanded. Control channel YYY.YYYY superceded by ZZZ.ZZZZ."

Oh yes... sorry didn't see that.

It's gonna be interesting in simulcast systems as I read that they won't switch the whole system at once and towers will be rebanded one by one.

P25 systems (which the MPSCS is) don't require any changes to the trunking tables. All you should need to do is add the new frequencies and be good to go.

Only Motorola systems (and even then not every system, depending on the frequencies in use) that use 3600 bps control channels require a custom trunking table.

Submitted 853.9375 C.C. for the Harrison - Clare county tower 0796h-0321.
I can very only barely get a signal at night being so weak down here, so no alternate cc was found.

Tbolt - Do you still want us to submit in the usual way and/or put info in this thread?
I know when Ohio who just finished their rebanding they just were putting the new info in their rebanding thread is why I ask.

I am located in Iron County, in the UP of Michigan, 3 days now with no radio traffic on the MPSCS frequencies.
I am very new to this, and wonder when frequencies will be updated in the databases??

I guess I didn't explain my issue well. I have a Uniden Bearcat BCD996XT Scanner, and it has been working awesome,, until about 3 days ago. Now it has hardly any MPSCS radio traffic at all. Could this be because of this rebanding? The scanner has the latest firmware. Prior to these last 3 days, the scanner hardly ever was silent..

Like I said earlier, I am new to digital scanners since 05/13.

If you mean the Primary and Alternate Frequencies, yes I have,,

I still have the old sites with the old control channels loaded in also, will these conflict with the new?
