Default dash-cam video shows Michigan State Police trooper, suspect falling from highway

Police dash-cam video shows Michigan State Police trooper, suspect falling from highway overpass after chase in Saginaw County | MLive.com

From last weeks chase, I do recall hearing em when it happened, yelling into the radio about them falling. Sure looks like the trooper was trying to grab the idiot and ultimately went as well.

Default Fall

Wow! Sitting in a chair in a warm building it's an easy call to let the guy go and fall himself. In the heat of the moment not so easy. I'm sure the trooper was only interested in stopping the guy and never once thought he'd come close to falling himself. Pure adrenalin.

I hope "S1" was the landing pad.

I think he was, since he had several broken bones, & the Trooper had only minor injuries.

Hopefully the Trooper was in good enough spirits to say: "That looked like it hurt. So did it hurt? Or did it just look like it hurt?"

Update Update: Michigan State Police trooper needs 3 to 6 months to recover from overpass fall | MLive.com

Usually S1 would refer to suspect 1.

Exactly. Don't get me wrong, I do not want the subject to be injured, in the overall. I, moreso, do not want a responder injured while trying to help. Since the event worked out like it did, the subject should bear the burden of the injuries.
