I've heard it for a couple of days now. Sounds like they are investigating some one and want a complete record of all the keystrokes from the person's computer. They also mentioned about having someone sent to Greatlakes. They gave out a phone number for one of the persons, wich is a Mt. Clemens Nextel number.

netfire is correct! I hesitated disclosing further details due to the nature of the conversation. Pretty serious sounding stuff!

Sounds like it must be an "Internet Crimes" division for some police department. Since Wayne County's unit uses Nextel for their crimes, we can mostly conclude that its not them. However, what other departments have such a specialized unit as this?

Macomb County has a Cyber Crimes Unit called MACE (Macomb Area Computer Enforcement). However, they are not on MPSCS yet. I did notice around the same time frame that C.O.M.E.T. (County Of Macomb Enforcement Team) frequencies were active. Maybe they were working with MSP.

they have been vary active on 39.700 around 18 and vandyke

They just did a bust 2 doors down from my friends house. It was down further on my road, and I was watching out for them, but I couldnt see anything. I just saw a few cars driving by. I guess they made a buy for some Cocaine from someone. The 39.700 freq is really low power, I had a little trouble hearing it under a quarter mile away. They must be on .5 watt or must have some really crappy antennas.

It didn't sound like COMET to me since COMET has learned how to use ENC on their radio's. I also heard COMET about the same time but it was all ENC. I'm almost tempted to call the cell phone they gave out and tell them their transmissions were in the open. The referenbe to Gratelakes makes it sound like USCG

It was also a very active day for various Federal VHF frequencies, including USSS to be active. Most of which was encrypted however.

Just heard it on the Sault Sainte Marie tower. Talking about fixing up a bathroom and sending someone down for the superbowl. There was more, but I would rather not repeat it.

I didn't hear any of that, but they were complaining about their boss being an "AH", and about some Canidian department complaining about them over flying their air space.

A lot of people think digital is the same as encrypted. I had a few bosses at SBC who couldn't log into a computer - they couldn't type in the numbers on their Secure ID card in 20 seconds. I wounder if these guys can ever investigate anything. If a lawyer is monitoring them he would have a lot of goodies. I once turned in a Warren PO to a dispatcher friend of mine for the PO acting like them.
