KC8SYO:

First welcome to Radio Reference. It is always good that before you post that you take some time and look around. Learn to use the website and see exactly what information is here. There is a lot of information that is posted here including All the Trunked Systems in use in Michigan. This includes Detroit.

Detroit is now operating a MPSCS Sub System and it is digital and you must have a Uniden 296,396,796 or a Radio Shack pro96,2096. These are the only scanners that will recieve 9600baud Digital Trunked Systems

As for the frequencies and Talkgroups follow this link:http://radioreference.com/modules.ph...=TRSDB&sid=100

Scroll to the bottom of the towers list and DETROIT SIMULCAST is listed. Further down the page you will see the talkgroups that are associated with the system.

Hope that helps and again welcome!

Eric
