I miss mmr in gratiot co to.... I provide the clinton and gratiot co fire ems feed but I need to upgrade someday to digital but I have no experience in it and have to start from scratch.

I live in Flushing (NW Genesee County) and I generally, but not always, only monitor Genesee County police and fire!

I should have done this long ago.

I live in Cannon Township and provide the "Kent County North Sheriff and Fire" feed from my home with my old Amateur radio that I no longer have in service. I also run TwoToneDetect on the feed and can send out pages if anyone is interested.

I have bitten the bullet on a PSR-800 so I can get digital reception for personal use and it should be here tomorrow. I look forward to sharing what I find here in West Michigan.

MMR North Dispatch

Someday I would like to find the TGID for Gratiot fire on-scene tactical channels (tac 1, thru tac 6). If anybody knows them, this newbie will be a happy newbie

Greetings, i live in port huron, and i have 5 scanners, and with 1 digital,

1. st.clair county fire
2. port huron,marysville fire
3. chemical valley emergency communications
4. american red cross ham repeater
5. St.clair county skywarn repeater located at belle river power plant
6. birchwood mall security
7. Port huron area school district(i have 4 kids in school)

I programmed the new SCS talk groups into my 396, yes I am using the Macomb County Simulcast frequencies but I am not hearing anything. The data was taken right off of the RR data base. Any suggestions ?

Hi I live at the county line for Bay/ Arenac near the Saginaw Bay,
using a 396x I monitor:
MPSCS
conventional county: Bay, Arenac, Gladwin, and Ogemaw

With MPSCS I catch some but not all of stuff from:
Fort Grayling to Flint/Holly
Mt Pleasant to Sanilac
but I don't get Bay City PD or Bay City Fire because the site isn't strong enough
On occasion I'm even catching some of District 2, 6, 7 and county dispatch for
Soo Locks and Marquette.

Some day I plan on getting a external antenna until then I use a $20 antenna from RS
