I know they changed the control freq. for the Holly tower, and with the apparent drop in simucast comms on the state towers I can't help but ask if it is possible that they are "tweaking" the system? Any thoughts out there? Can they change the radiated beam width and angle of these antennas without physically climbing the tower? Something has changed.
Well could it be possible that they changed them electronically
instead of physically by climbing?

Default West side

On the west side, I find that the Owosso system works well. Control frequency is 868.9375 MHz. I leave the right-hand arrow pointing down so that when the 396 is turned on it scans downward and hits Owosso prior to hitting Genesee (868.8875 MHz). Some of the time, the radio locks on Saginaw (868.9875 MHz). I move the radio so as to minimize the Saginaw signal and turn off the radio. When I turn the radio back on, it finds Owosso.

Does anyone know how to cause the radio to change control channels?
