Default Lo band...?

just curious, is there any confirmed activity in the VHF-lo bands anymore in the SE Michigan area? of any kind?

i see lots of listings in various places in the database, but i wondered if anyone actually knew of a service still actively using a freq.

Not sure about your area, but in WA State, there are some construction companies that still use low band VHF. They are Motorola CDM1250's that have been sold cheap by rural police departments when they went to 800MHz in this area.
