Default PRO-2051 & Ingham County Public Saftey

I just got one of these, brand new in the box for some work I did on a friends vehicle, I plan on using it only for the Ingham County Public Saftey when its up and running, Will I be disappointed? Will this be a good unit for a dedicated base unit? Or should I sell it and get something diffrent..

If it does narrowband EDACS you'll be fine - if not it will be useless.
