Macomb Sheriff man-hunt this afternoon...

Macomb County Sheriff had a man-hunt going on late this afternoon, in the area of Card Road, between 22 & 23 Mile Rd. I was separated from my scanner for a time, and didn't hear the result. Last I heard they had the entire area surrounded, and were waiting on a K-9 unit.

Anyone here the outcome, and what it was all about?

I was half-listening/half-programing my new scanner, but I heard the K9 units called out, searching the woods, etc.

A unit found him after crossing the Clinton River and took him into custody. I also think I heard a med unit involved, possible 10-96.

Was exciting for awhile, wasn't it!

Yes there sure was a lot of activity going on! I think Macomb County Sheriff does a phenomenal job in situations like these. They're very well organized, and more often than not, get the bad guy rather quickly!

I respect Hackel a great deal - in spite of his political persuasion! First dem I'd ever voted for.

I also think MCS has made a lot of progress in cleaning up the Clem.
