Just as an FYI for those wanting to participate in Skywarn this season. This is the LAST class in the NWS Detroit/White Lake county warning area. So if you live in the counties served by KDTX and have NOT taken the class... this is it.

You dont have to take it in your home county to participate. All classes are the same.

The class has some GREAT footage that is new this year!! Well worth the trip!!

If you plan on attending, Look me up, I will be there

To add to that, according to Stan Kowalski, the local NWS liasion, there's no need to pre-register for the upcoming session at Freedom Hill "as they have plenty of capacity".

I took the one in Monroe county last month and it was well worth it. This was my 3rd or 4th year going.

I went to the one in Novi last week. First time going, I've wanted to go last year but the classes weren't at a good time.
