Default What is LTR And How Do I Program It??

What is LTR Passport? How do I program it into my BCD396T? Do I just program all the frequencies in numerical order like EDACS?

If it's passport, about all you can do is scan it conventionally, no scanner will trunk track it AFAIK.
One thing I have noticed is that even "Normal" LTR can be hard to figure out because there is no easy way to see how they configure an LTR as far as LCN's and Frequencies.
A lot of times ther frequencies don't even list to who is using them.

How does each frequencies' LTR controller communicate with the other ones?
Of course if they are at the same site it's easy, but do they ever have a system with more than one transmitting site? If so, I assume microwave, ISDN or fiber could be used?

Another question. Are different brands of LTR trunking repeaters compatible with each other as far as data communication between each other?
