Default Seeker 800 MHz antenna

Does anyone have this antenna? Does it work noticeable better than the 800 MHZ antenna from RS? Does this fit the PRO-96 scanner?

Hmmmm, so it might not work outstandingly better than the RS 800 MHz, but will bring in more of the VHF frequencies better? Might be worth it...

I can get several conventional frequencies that are further away better on the PRO-2096 with the adjustable antenna than I can on the PRO-96. Makes me jealous of the base unit I got for my mom for Xmas, but I wanted the portable for myself since I can put batteries in it if the power goes out.

I have one which I primarily got because of weak reception of the Saginaw County analog trumk system. The stubby that comes with the radio works fine for the MSP digital system but the analog one was quite noisy. When I switched to the Seeker it helped quite a bit and I can now copy the analog system quite well. It also seems to work fine for VHF stuff as well.

Okay - thanks. Just to make sure, the Seeker 800MHz DOES fit on the PRO-96, right?
