Default Detroit MPSCS System

I scan from eastern farmington, does anyone know how to get detroit more clearly, without them breaking up while transmiting. I do know that they try to keep their traffic in the city, but is there anything i can buy or do to make it more clear. I already have an RS 800MHZ Rubber Duckie, that seems to help, but still not good enough to hear, and i have downloaded the firmware update.

Any ideas?

I believe the closest tower to Farmington is at Trinity & Grand River (G.R & West McNichols area).

I think you're referring to the CPU version. You want to check the DSP version. Current version is 1.3 if I recall correctly.
