St. Clair County P25 Update
Per Thursdays Emergency Prepardness meeting the offical switchover date for St. Clair County to go to the P25 800 Digital system is 02-01-2007.
Everything I gathered at the meeting was that this date is set in stone and final radio installs wil be done by Jan 20th 2007 for final testing.
So far Memphis PD is the only PD other then MSP completely using the new system.
If I hear more I will post more, this is just for your information.

The towers are up but they aren't going to activate them till Jan.

St. Clair County
2695 a87 D 74E911 Central 9-1-1 EMS - Dispatch
Tri must have system privileges with Macomb, and I have also heard them on the Detroit System when they are transporting to Detroit Receiving or U of M.

They do travel to Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center, St. Joe West and St. John Detroit regularly, so I would imagine that they will have access to the Macomb system.

Who is the primary EMS provider for St. Clair County? I thought it was THEMS, but there's a TG for EMS Dispatch and one for THEMS... 2695 and I forget what the other is. Also, does anyone know the codes? Priority 3, or what the units are? 145, 44, ect. I saw one on 94 in St. Clair Shores, do they also serve Macomb County? Thanks.

Tri-Hospital EMS is the only provider other then Marysville City EMS. MFD is the only department left with their own EMS.
I can't remember which Priority is worst but it's 1, 2 and 3.
The rigs are numbered 135, 136, 138, 143, 144, 146, 147, 148 and 149
139-142 are Assisted Trasnport vans for the home health program that takes elderly and people needing assistance to the doctor and the hospital for therapy and testing.
They cover from Cade Rd to the west (County Line) to Fisher Rd to the north (county Line), County line Rd to the south (county line) inside the county of St. Clair.
Death Star and Richmond Lenox used to cover the west and south area but their service was slow and unwanted by the citizens.
Tri EMS has stations in Capac, Yale, Port Huron, Wadhams, Ira, Marine City, and St. Clair they are also working a deal with Croswell and Lexington in Saniliac County to buy out their EMS and take over the area there.

3 is minor injury, 2 being more serious, and priority 1 the most serious.
There is a priority 4 which means deceased.
Tri Hospital Staions:
Station 1 - Central (Downtown Port Huron-Grand River Ave.)
Station 2 - Mercy Hospital
Station 3 - River District Hospital
Station 4 - Clay Twp.
Station 5 - Kimball Twp.
Station 6 - Yale
Station 7 - Capac

groups.yahoo.com/PRO96COM for the software. I only have Unidens (220XLT, BCT8, 396T and 996T) so I will not be of any help with the tower decodes. Although with the 100 off right now... But that dang reband issue is what always holds me back

You can believe it if you want to but it's not true.
Just like when they said they weren't going to invoke the 911 surcharge tax of .50 a home w/o a public vote. What happened? They snuck it in there a month later then didn't tell the public they changed their minds untill 6 months later after we were billed for it.
I knew they were going to do it so they could help fund Central Dispatch and no one believed me. I was at the meetings when they talked about it so eh.
Sept 2007 - Feb 2008 my white round rear end.
I have another meeting in 2 weeks, I'll let you know what happens then.
