I like Seamusg never had issues with Warren when Im down there.

The only issues I get is sometimes get static and feedback noise after transmissions or inbetween transmissions from 2009 MSP D2E and Romeo PD. Other then that, Warren is clear as can be when I'm down there.

Hi Camster. That may have been me that mailed you a p96 file to load in your scanner when you first got it. (I was operating under the handle of MacombMonitor back then). Regardless, is the sound you're hearing like a loud irritating buzz? If so, thats the noise the control channel makes if for some reason the scanner isn't decoding it properly. In the last couple weeks I've heard this also, on my PRO-2096, and my BCD996T, so there is nothing wrong with your scanner. It usually occurs during the day at random times. Maybe three, or four times a day. There could be a number of reasons for this, none of which I'd worry about. It will probably just stop one day.

Bill

I get the CC noise on MPSCS site 219. I have Warren and three MPSCS sites and some conventional on one scanner and site 219 and some conventional on another. I'm slowly trying to eliminate my Pro 2052.

I think this problem occurs when the Warren City Council is in session. There is so much B.S. pouring out of there that it clouds the sky and blocks the signal.

Be careful Bill you're getting close to getting involved in Warren Politics (not a good idea).
