Default Detroit Zoo

Well took the little one to the zoo today and tried out the close call on the 396t.

Several times when near the zoo keepers i would get some control channel hits / noise on 507.xxx 3875, 4000 and some other 2xxx. I could hear there radios start chattering when I got the close call hits so I know it was for them.

Trying to keep the lil one and the wife happy so I did not play with it too much. Anyone closer want to try and figure out the order of the channels?

I'm a little over 2 miles from the zoo. I listen to 151.205 often. kinda interesting traffic and they come thru loud and clear.

isnt 507.xxx in UHF TV band? I'll be happy to keep a listen on them if you give me some pointers on what ranges to search.

had the 151.2050

But when near the keepers and there radios started chattering I had the close calls on

507.2675
507.3875
507.4000

and a couple of others I did not get to write down.

From searching it looks like the 507.xxx ic=s common LTR trunking.
