Default Clinton County TG's, Ingham County TG's, and MPSCS

I know this may be a small tidbit when concerned with the other issues at hand but can anyone confirm the usage of Clinton County talkgroups on either the MPSCS digital system or the Ingham County system, I know that I have seen rdale in particular talk about the ProVoice Clinton County talk groups available on MPSCS system but what about the Clinton County talkgroup or talkgroups on the Ingham County system. I do not believe I have ever heard any traffic on the Clinton County Talkgroup of 08-057 or 1071. Do they primarily use the Tri County talk groups? And is Clinton County Dispatch always patched to the MPSCS system unlike the Ingham system?

I wish I had my Pro-96 again to test out this on my own, unfortunately I do not.

Thanks for the help.

I seem to remember hearing Clinton Co SO on the MPSCS several times when I was in the area last month.

Clinton Co Sheriff is always patched to MPSCS on TG1191. They are not patched to Ingham Co at this time. The Lansing / Dimondale towers do not always pick them up though, you have to go north to get continuous coverage.

All three counties use the tri-county UHF frequency as needed which is always patched into the Ingham Co system on that talkgroup.

as far as Clinton Co. talkgroup on ingham county, no it is not up and running yet. neither is Eaton Co's talkgroup. both Clinton and Eaton Co's have to add "stargate" software to their consoles in order for their patch groups "19P911" and "23P911" to work on the Ingham Co. System.

Fortunately, the Ingham Co. radios can be switched to conventional and be able to use the Eaton Co. main dispatch conventional frequency (460.425mhz). Clinton Co. is obviously on 800 Mhz, so they would still have to use "Tri County police"
