Default Waterford MI Fire

I live just outside of Waterford and get a scratchy signal when the Fire Dept is dispatched but never get anything from the trucks.

I scan 154.995, 154.83, 154.385, 153.88, 423.4875, and 423.8625. I've got these programmed into several different scanners. Anybody have different frequencies or suggestions.

Thanks,
Pete

well the only thing you will need for waterford fire dept is 154.385 everything should be on that frequency unless they go elsewhere for mutual aid. I dont know this for sure, but i beleve dispatch is the only thing on a repeater, so you may only hear the trucks if they are near you or the conditions are right. I work in pontiac and would run into the same problem. Hope this helps

Dave

Has to be your scanner, I picked them up clear from Chesterfield Twp. just yesterday. I do have some idea of what you mean though, sometimes I'm monitoring and get them great and their dispatch can't. No clue why. Old tower?
