Default Ingham Co Help

Heard 02-031 used Wednesday around lunchtime, was some sort of PD, I checked the original talkgroup list and it's not there so must be new -- and heard enough back-n-forth that I know it wasn't a decode error.

Site 2 Lansing was added to the RR listing a few weeks ago -- anybody know what that's about? I've never heard any transmissions on any of the frequencies, and a check with one of the system techs I know had no idea what that would be referring to either... Who added it and why?

- Rob

I heard 02-031 / 281 also today. It did sound like PD and not the normal run of the mill car to car. This would fall right after Lansing's Detectives TG so I would imagine it is LPD. I'll give a listen if I spot it again.

Only info on Site 2 I could find would be: Added Site-2 Thunderbolt 2007-04-27 03:59:27

Default Ingham Co Help

I remember hearing that TGID last week sometime, and the female voice I heard was refering to the TG as "START" (on START)

I looked at the START talk groups, and didnt see any similarity. Ill keep an ear on the TG

Chad - that's the only reference I've seen to a Site 2, so I guess I'm curious who added it (Thunderbolt?) and why, since the radio techs don't seem to know about it ;>

Yeah I dug around with the FCC database for awhile and came up empty handed.

I think the link goes dead after a while, it worked last week and now now.

try this one

http://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/reports7/...ice_select=%25

when it Universal Licensing System then choose 0003006509 which is the top one. I think that will work.

Probably something to do with the receive site... I did see in the 911 Board minutes that they are replacing some of the microwave links with network lines to improve comms with some of the towers internally.
