Default Clinton Township

Good day;
Utilizing a 396 from Chesterfield Township (with any antenna), I used to receive (hit on scan) Clinton Township Police dispatch strongly. Matter of fact, it was the strongest and clearest of all (including MPSCS).
Within the past two weeks (I think, because all of sudden I realized I hadn't heard them in awhile), I receive nothing from Clinton Twp.
I checked the channel manually and it receives fine. Just not on scan.
What do you think?
Reduced wattage from their transmitter?
Newly emerged leaves on trees?
Other?
Regards;
Mike

Is it possible you have it locked out when in scan mode?

Southfields is great, I can pick them up in Port Huron and also at the last get together in Romeo I got them clear as day.

Back when Detroit was on UHF I could monitor all of their UHF Channels from my home 60 miles away no problem. But I can't hear squat from anything in Macomb County south of 23 Mile Rd unless it was Sheriff.

at about this timeframe i heard they had to have thier (repeater?) repaired. I could hear them, but faint. Since then there is a lot of variation in their signal strength. overall it is much weaker then it used to be. I monitor from Chesterfield, Mt. clemens, and Clinton Twp.

That's excellent! I finally going to put an antenna up soon, so being just a little bit North of you, I should be able to copy them solid. Right now it's not good at all.

Cool. Please send me an email about your proposed antenna. I'm still considering a yagi for the attic.
