Default Car numbers

Do these numbers correspond to each towns fire dispatch as well? Is the fire dispatch on the digital system, or still at 155.715?

This is only for police. As far as I know all fire agencies in Van Buren Co. are still on the old convention freq's.

Looks good except Mattawan units start with 42, and Gobles no longer has a PD, instead contracting with the Sheriff's Department. Same with Lawrence.

Additions for police numbering:
51 units are MSP Paw Paw
55 units are MSP South Haven

Fire units use a different numbering. They still operate on old VHF (155.715 and 154.205) system for most part, but each department has one or two radios on MPSCS for interoperability. I have hear them on 80COM talkgroup, but don't know what others they have capability on.

Fire numbering, last I checked:
1200 - PAW PAW
1300 - LAWTON
1400 - DECATUR - Hamilton
1500 - SISTER LAKES
1600 - KEELER TWP.
1700 - LAWRENCE
1800 – HARTFORD
1900 – COVERT
2100 - WATERVLIET (BERRIEN)
2200 - allocated for SOUTH HAVEN, but they use their own numbering
2300 – BANGOR
2400 - GOBLES – Pine Grove
2500 - MATTAWAN
2600 - BLOOMINGDALE
2700 - Columbia Twp.
