Default Detroit Public School Security

After months of searching I have finally found the freq for DPS SCHOOL SECURITY 422.91250, but is is coming in with constant squelch bursts, can anyone tell me what this is from or is it just my radio, pro96, is there anyway to get rid of this annoying sound???

Sounds like a Passport type system.

The database shows it as a passport ltr system. http://www.radioreference.com/module...me=RR&sid=3954

im not to into LTR's, but the pro96 doesnt actually scan the whole system. They may operate on other frequencies in the 420.XXX to 422.XXX. Again, i dont know about ltr's but this is what i got out of it. Correct me if im wrong.

There is a private security co. that I sometimes listen to and every couple of seconds it sounds like someone keys their radio for a split second and this is all the time 24/7 on that channel. Maybe this is the same as you are experiencing, it may be the type of radio system? I am in Oakland County and the freq I am talking about is 462.175 and the user is Crime Prevention Security,INC.
