Question New to trunking

Where can i get the frequencies and id's for Lapeer county,MI.I just got a BCT-15 and i want to try it out.Any links?????that i can get from you guys
that i can download to the scanner.Thank you,Bill

And to address the other need - Bill you will need a copy of ARC15 from BuTel. Then become a premium subscriber as described in our wiki and that will allow you to download data directly from the database into the scanner.
Alternatively you can use software like Scan Control (which works with many different Uniden scanners) and if you have Excel, you can use Paste Special to create a csv file that SC maps into the groups you define.

Our wiki has links describing how to become a premium subscriber, as well as the procedures for using Excel's 'paste special' feature. You can find the Excel link under 'Forum Specific topics' then 'Software'. You can access the wiki by clicking on the word in the top blue toolbar.

Question

I got the scan-lite plus softwhare from where i got he bct-15.(hobby stop radio).I got it programed but i can find the lapeer id's for trunking.Bill

Yes get software, Butel is the best! I recommend getting because it help's when programming many trunking system's in ur scanner

I got the Butel softwhare and i am very happy with it,i got everything programed and i went and bought one more bct-15,I couldn't be happier.
