Thumbs up Resonable range for Pro-96 in Washtenaw Co.

I just purchased a Pro-96, and wanted to know what would be a reasonable range or limit to my listening area of Washtenaw Co.? I have been using a Pro-92, which can receive Washtenaw Co. only. Would I be able to listen to any of the digital systems from surrounding counties? I know that many have suggested purchasing the RS 800Mhz antenna which I might have to purchase very soon.

You should be able to pick almost anything up within about 60-70 miles on the digital system.

Thats what I get on average but sometimes I can get alot more then that like lately Im picking up Jackson.

I am in Ypsilanti also! If you are there, on the PRO96 with the stock or 800 mhz antenna you will be able to receive the Ann Arbor Tower(listed as Dexter in the database for some strange reason) The Northville Tower, and Flat Rock. Depending on your location and if you have an outdoor antenna will determine what other towers you will be able to receive.

Let me know if I can help you out any more....

Hey thanks everyone for the great info. It would be great someone to try and set-up a local meet and greet of local scanners since there seems to be a few.
