Default Conservation Officers

I just recently heard couple of local CO's checking into sta 20 with different call signs.

I checked the DNR website and found that they have renumbered the Districts for Law Enforcement from D-1 to D-8. Anyone else heard anything?

"Station 20" is the name of the dispatch center in Lansing, MI. Instead of calling it "central" i guess thats what they wanna call it.

Station 20 is the dispatch center for Detroit MSP and station 10 is the dispatch center for Lansing MSP.

The DNR headquarters in Lansing has been their radio station '20' since the 70's at least. So if you hear a call sign with the DNR that starts with 20 it will be someone who works out of the headquarters.

If COs are the same as the DNR officers, they renamed the ones too that call into Barry County Central Dispatch from 12xxx units to 71xx

The state of Michigan reassigned numbers to all the districts. A current map can be found at http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7...4666--,00.html. What was once district 12 is now district 7. However the MPSCS talkgroups still remain the same.

Yea, this is really throwing off our dispatch center! Instead of a 51xx unit, they are now a 31xx unit.
