Default How do you obtain a Site ID?

How exactly can you obtain a Site ID...namely the Allegan system. Is it something that is displayed on the programmed radio if you know what keys to hit...or is there no way to get this info from a programmed radio?

Trunker will give the site ID of a system and any neighbors. But a Pro 96?? will only give you the ID.

So I can use a programming cable to hook my computer up to a LPE-200 Provoice enabled radio and run eTrunker and it will identify the system ID??

If it's EDACS, it's more than likely gonna show a System ID of 0001

ummm ... no, not exactly.

Discriminator tap any radio and feed the audio to a data slicer that is connected to a PC on which eTrunker is running. You should not have any problem finding more information about how to do this because 80% of this website deals with the topic in excruciating detail.

"More than likely", yes. But not always.
