Thats random. Please provide more details as to who, what, where, how. "Just heard some stuff" doesnt tell us much. Those statements could differ extremely depending on the situation.

Yes, I did think it up all by myself. I thought it was pretty funny myself. But I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing with you. It's not my problem if you're not laughing, too.

It's pretty useless information without a clue as to where it came from. Did you hear it from the paranoid schizophrenic crack whore across the street, or is it an actual credible, authoritative source? Do tell.

BTW, you may be able to read, but you sure as hell can't write. I took the liberty of pointing out all your errors. You're welcome. =)

No, I meant to say "aluminum foil". But thanks for pointing that out. You can crawl back under your rock now. Bye bye!

Was this your attempt at "marking up" his reply? I bet you feel so smart now, since you take the time to use proper grammar and syntax. He posted what he heard, why jump his sh*t for that?

Why did I post? Oh, just figured I'd contribute just as much as you did...

Within the confines and functionality of the forum, yep.

Not really. But I was amused for a brief moment.

I didn't jump his sh*t about that. I made a stupid post about aluminum foil. I went off on his reaction. Smart? No. If I wanted that, I would have avoided this thread altogether.

Now, where in this thread did I say anything about contributing? I had what was (to me) a funny thought about the original post. Completely irrelevant, but intended to be funny. Now both you and the OP have reacted badly to it. Anyone else?

I'll have to side with ZZ on this one. First of all, the original post doesn't make a whole not of sense. "Cutting TX-RX across HF" and switching to UHF doesn't make a whole lot of sense when you have military assets all over the globe!
You still haven't lent a whole lot of credibility to your vague posts, which makes it pretty much worthless.

the purpose of the post was soley for the reason of putting what i was privy to out there,i cannot monitor mil bands,so i cant go and check it out for myself.

figuring there are people here that can tune those bands i was hoping more or less for a reply like,

-oh,i just fired up my rig and the HF is good to go...

Or,

-i just fired up my rig and theres a curious absence or reduction in traffic..

Im YET to hear a response that actually has a little info behind it,all i got was the high n mighty crappin on down,,

i am a member in good standing on other forums, christ like my 5th post here was a write up and great pics of a dtap mod.im all about CONTRIBUTING,,not bashing or deciding to piss on someone for the god dammed fun of it.

sorry i dared to repeat info i heard,

sorry i didnt post teh SGT;s badge num,,

Or the APO of the ranger that i was chattin with.

this is my last post.period.

ill happily stick to using the service i paid for to make my scanner programing easier.

Oh,,so is anyone actully trying to tune some HF...or are those that talk smack just sitting on their duffs poised to tell me how much of a shmuck i am for omitting info..

to the descent folks on here, thanks for your assistance,

Keep posting this kind of info. We need to know what's going on so we can take appropriate action.

Heh... I'm sorry. Maybe I'm the only one who sees the humor here - A cryptic post with a vague reference to a presidential directive allowing martial law by a member named "fourthhorseman" just seems to be comically apocalyptic.

A Google search of "PDD51/NSPD51" brings back hits from sites catering to the "black helicopter" crowd and other paranoids, and not one (that's NONE, as in ZERO) credible news or government website that would give the slightest legitimacy to this "document".

So, get comfortable in in your bunker. I hope you have plenty of ammo. You'll probably need it. *eye roll* As for me, it's a nice evening out. I'm going to sit on the back porch with a nice glass of merlot and peruse my absentee ballot that came in the mail for a local election. You have fun...

Just make sure it's the new Ammo, with the Serial #'s and tracking device so they will find where you are.

"KGB - We know where YOU are "

Very Odd Original Post, but then, look at his handle. Nuff Said.

If you heard it, post the Frequency. For all we know it was an amatuer radio cult club net on HF waiting for the Space Ships and Jim Jones to return to save them.
