Default AR routes and freqs - ID freq

Hey folks.
I searched and googled, and could not find the air refuel routes and freqs. Much appreciated if someone would post one, or e-mail me the info. I have the freq for AR 218 and 220, but misplaced, lost the rest. I used to google "Images" and it come right up ; but now it won't

Also, as of May 09, I have a freq that was not posted here on RR.COM, nor on any of my many pages of internet research. 240.3500. Heard here in central West Virginina, the first of June. If anyone knows what that freq is designated for please drop me an e-mail, as I stay busy, and do not get to browse the web as much as I would like.

Internet research is tough and demanding, as I stay busy. I just got into the mil air monitoring recently. I have freqs from here at RR.COM, and many other research sites. Some sites conrtadict others ( imagine that ). I am interested in CAP flights for the EADS, as well as any AWACS - TACAMO aircraft , Air refueling routes for EADS. I have a pages and pages of freqs, but am looking for confirmed freqs, that have been identified and what their designation is. If you post it here, fine : but it may be some time before I get back on the boards.

I am prior service ( best years of my life ) , so if any of you out there speak military, please feel free to drop me a line ; most especially with the above requested info .

Much Thanks in advance......FF-Medic

I'm not sure what you Googled, but if you Google "air refuel routes" you get this URL as the first response:

Military Comms Monitoring. HF VHF UHF

Isn't that what you're after?

Also if you Google "240.350 West Virginia" you'll find the following:

Military A/C Activity

Not the first listing, but a few down. Gives some info on that frequency not far from your area.

Good Lord, don't ever point anyone at that old milaircomms website. It was run by George Fetter, who (to keep it short) has been banned from doing any radio stuff and is a known criminal. His websites are way out of date.

I would suggest joining up with the Maryland sticky thread for milcom - in spite of the name, there are one or two WV folks there. You are much more likely to get more up to date information there.

The 240.35 you mentioned is Blue Ash Control. A good listing can be found here MONIX Military Monitoring and is kept up to date. What I monitor from my location Wva related has been Wv ANG out of Wood Co., 41.600 FM and 248.300 AM along with Wva 130th on 302.300 AM.

My point was that Google produced all kinds of hits that appear to provide the information sought and that particular one happened to be the first. Like everything else on the web, some sites have valid info and some don't. If one is willing to spend a few minutes looking at a few sites he/she can determine what is likely valid. Frankly, it didn't appear that the OP had done that because he was real busy, maybe even too busy to return to this thread for quite some time.

BTW, I have no knowledge of George Fetter, whoever he may be, but I don't see what he could be banned from that would affect his ability to listen to milaircomms nor what the fact that he may be a criminal has to do with the validity of the information on his site unless, of course, he's presently incarcerated which could cut down on his ability to listen.

I have neither knowledge nor concern about Mr. Fetter and feel that the entire discussion of him is both irrelevant and inappropriate. We're not talking about buying something from him nor sleeping with him.

To get perhaps a bit on topic, it has been kindly pointed out to me that Carma has a guide to refueling scanning at this URL

Here in a few weeks I will be getting ahold of a current book that lists the AR freqs. Since there are so many, it would be better to tell me where you will be listening, (Central Oklahoma, for example) and I will be able to look it up.

I'll agree with rvictor. Who cares who Fetter is - I was looking for a map of refueling tracks recently and his site came up on Google. I couldn't find any others. It wasn't until someboody mentioned the CARMA pdf file with refueling info in a previous post above that I knew it existed. Somebody needs to get that CARMA pdf "out there" so it ends up near the top in a Google search if ya want people to get to it instead of Fedder's website.

I was initially going to respond to ff-medic with the same information, btw.

All I know is Google is my friend, Fetter doesn't have to be.

And, thanks to the folks from CARMA because that is a really nice document!

It now exists as:

In fact, I believe that in any Monix link that contained
Code:
http://www.siscom.net/~meece
you should substitute with
Code:
http://sharedhosting.siscom.net/~mmeec
.

The frequency mentioned earlier of 240.350 is not only for Blue Ash but AR primary for AR/Anchor 633 ( N/E Tennessee).
