I have 385.0625 MHz as the primary control channel for the ELMR 14C Navy site 101, 385.3125 MHz is primary for Navy site 102 and 386.1250 MHz is primary for Navy site 103. I have no exact locations for these sites, but they all seem to be located in the southern Puget Sound area.

I don't think that the database for this system has ever accurately reflected reality, as the Navy side of the system is using some sites with the same site numbers as the sites at Joint Base Lewis McChord. The original Navy site listings were over-written when the JBLM sites came on line and were added to the database.

You're right. Years ago when this system first came online I was trying to help ID site locations. I'm surprised the people living in the area haven't figured out everything by now.

Even then there were two simultaneous sites 101- 380.075/385.0625
And 102- 380.2125 and 385.3125

My info from ~5 years ago.

The Navy sites I IDed in the area that would possibly have radio sites were:
Naval Station Bremerton 103? (386.1250 380.7250 380.9375)
NSB Bangor 105?
Keyport Naval Undersea Warfare Center 106
Yakima Firing Center
Yakima Training Center 107?
Whidbey area- Possibly Indian Island Naval Ammunition Depot 108
Whidbey area 109
Naval Strategic Weapon Fac Pac or Keyport Undersea Warfare 110?
Naval Support Complex in Marysville 111?
Everett Naval Station 112?
Whidbey Island area 114

It's time to fix this 14C system...or should I say systems. I'm going to split them into two so that they actually make sense, but I need some help doing so.

I'm going to need to know which sites and talkgroups belong to which systems, and what each system should be named once they are separated.

Anyone interested in helping me out so we can finally make this right?

Alright that's a good start. I'm also going to need suggestions for what to name each system so people can make sense out of them.

There is a tower on Camp Murray at 47° 7'11.10"N 122°33'52.60"W
I wouldn't rule out this as one site location.

At 47° 4'47.90"N 122°36'32.30"W there are several towers, one for the FAA and some that look like cell tower. Who knows what else is there?

Any antenna on the McChord water tower? 47° 9'2.07"N 122°29'43.98"W

How about use of the State of WA tower at 47° 9'15.79"N 122°23'46.07"W?

Probably a good likelihood of a site closer to the SE part of the base where all the training areas are.

Are certain talkgroups limited to or most commonly active on certain sites? Are training ops usually on a different site than main post activities?

All of these questions will need someone in the area to look into.

As far as can be determined, these three sites that you are breaking off service Joint Base Lewis McChord only. Naming these sites a Joint Base Lewis McChord makes sense.

The rest of the 14C sites are still part of the Navy/Marines Enterprise Land Mobile radio system (ELMR)

Great. System has been set active in the database, and I've removed all traces of Joint Base Lewis-McChord from the larger 14C system.

I've added ELMR sites 101, 102 and 103 back to the larger 14C system.

As always, any corrections or updates are appreciated.

I hope these changes helps get this system more accurately listed in the database, I know it's been a bone of contention for a while now.

Alright here is the newly created Joint Base Lewis-McChord system. If you can give it a quick look before I set it as an active system, and more importantly before I delete those sites/talkgroups from the 14C ELMR system...that would be great.

Joint Base Lewis-McChord Trunking System, Tacoma, Washington - Scanner Frequencies

Are you moving the tgids from Joint Base Lewis-McChord Trunking System, Tacoma, Washington - Scanner Frequencies to the USDoD big system
United States Department of Defense (BEE00-14C) Trunking System, Nationwide, Multi-State - Scanner Frequencies

months ago I got a few tgids its not listed on that site. I have to find them again and post them see who they are.

Negative, the other way around.

The Joint Base Lewis-McChord standalone system is new, I created that earlier. I moved all of the sites and talkgroups for that system out of the DOD 14C system.

The following talkgroups were listed in the Joint Base Lewis-McChord subcategory, but are thought to possibly be part of the DOD 14C system, not the Joint Base Lewis-McChord system. Because they were all very vague as far as usage, and there's no way to know which system they were actually heard on, they'll have to be re-confirmed.

23042 JBLM Ops
23047 JBLM Ops
23198 JBLM Ops
23272 JBLM Ops
23303 JBLM Ops
23536 JBLM Ops
23625 JBLM Ops
23793 JBLM Ops
23794 JBLM Ops

Thanks,

here what I got from the Panama City site awhile ago. Not sure if where this tgid 29004 is from. Not sure if it belongs to PC site or another area.

Everything looks good so far, TKS!

"WA-Site 109" those freqs shouldn't be listed on the Navy page. The Navy Site 109 freqs should be added. ?Correct? :)
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?siteId=10428

Correct,
Just look at those talkgroups and the Radio ID's used on them.
(Talkgroups: 23xxx) , (RadioIDs: 121xxxxx , 131xxxxx) = on the Navy Region Northwest (NRNW) sites.

Notice some sites missing the "Site Nac" on those two DB pages.

Does anyone have any updated Pro96com reports for any 14C sites in Washington?

I see what MtnBiker2005 is saying now.

The site 109 data currently listed is likely an Army site.

In 2008 Wilrobnson logged a site 109 in the Whidbey area with this:
Tower Number (Decimal): 109 (Possibly a secondary Whidbey site?)
Tower Number (Hex) : T0109

-Frequencies
#Format: Usage,Frequency
"c",386.100
"a",386.250
"v",386.550
"vd",386.700
"av",388.0625

Can someone confirm there is still a site 109 with these frequencies?
