I'm back to monitoring the US DOD BEE00-14C system. I've noticed that more of the Regional Dispatch Centers (RDC) have come online. What I have been seeing is, what use to be NAS Whiting Field Fire Dispatch TG 29243 now seems to carry the RDC dispatch for the South Eastern Region. From my location in Florida I will hear fire dispatch for NAS Pensacola (6xx), NAS Whiting Field (7xx), NSB Kings Bay (13xx) and NAS Ft. Worth (12xx) on talkgroup 29243. I had a friend who is next door in Panama City pull up 2-009 (NSA Panama City) and he wasn't picking up anything.
I'm thinking there is a lot of patching going on. I figure the RDC talkgroup is patching into the local talkgroups so depending on your location will depend on which talkgroup you will pick up or who you will hear.
Note: On another TG, I will hear Key West, Corpus Christi and Meridian all on the same RDC talkgroup.
