Very nice of you to update that Wiki, but for so many idiots like myself who have no idea how to match or convert a 'matrix' to an actual frequency, it's only nice to look at, and dream. I got the 396XT a few weeks ago and am trying to learn all of the intricacies - it is a jungle for the new guy.
I wonder if you, or other experienced like you realize the money to be made by offering tutorials/lessons to the loads of 'newies' who are beating their heads against the wall and spending hours and hours at the computer trying to figure out all of the codes, acronyms and abbreviations in this scanner world.
I've been trying for days to get MN Highway Patrol, using FreeScan, I put in freqs 159.360, 154.935 and 160.950 as conventional analog, but don't get even a click. Now what...
I for one would be happy to drive 30 miles and pay $30 for just a half hour with someone who really knows how it all works and could at least show me a decent start. Good earnings for someone it seems to me.
