I don't know where you are headed with this question. Do you want to have a list of alternate control channels for the sake of having an accurate list? Or, do you want to have them programmed just in case the primary isn't being used for some reason.

I usually, unless cramped for space, program all of the frequencies for a site in my scanner. That way if they do some control channel changing, I won't miss anything. Of course with a large system as Minnesota's that might be difficult and be space issue.

Have you ever tried running a program like Trunk88, it will list zones and neighboring sites and it will give you the CC and Alt CC for what is put out on that CC you listen to. I picked up some good info from using Trunk88, TG's, radio ID's, etc.

I have 6 versions of Trunker running and 3-800 mhz beams at 1550 ft ASL but I can still only get the sites in the NW 1/4 of the state.

I didn't realize ARMER was a P25 system, it was just pointed out in another thread that Trunk88 doesn't work on P25 systems (knew that - but senior moment) so mentioning Trunk88 doesn't fit here, sorry! I guess when your trying to help, you should make sure you know what your talking about...
