Default ARMER Talkgroup 4650

That database here lists ARMER Talkgroup 4650 as:

IGH WORKS 2

However, based on listening this morning, that does not seem to be adding up. To me it sounded more like Dakota County HD, Farmington PW, or Lakeville PW. Can anybody here help with this?

Default ARMER Talkgroup 4650

I heard more traffic this morning on Talkgroup 4650. They made mention of 175th St. and 205th St, which runs through Lakeville. Thus I strongly suspect that this is Lakeville Public Works. This leads me to believe that it should be one of the following:

DK LA PW 1

DK LA PW 2

DK LA COM

I am inclined to say that it is simply DK LA PW 1, since most public works departments seem to just stay on their main talkgroup.

I have monitored more traffic on this talkgroup this morning. This is definitely NOT Inver Grove Heights Public Works. As I suspected from earlier traffic, they are talking about plowing operations and the locations given, such as Dodd Blvd and Flagstaff, are clearly Lakeville.

Would there be any reason they might have been patched with each other?

There would be no reason to patch them together.

I am hearing a lot of traffic on this again today. All of the traffic is consistent with Lakeville Public Works. What is the best way to get this corrected on the database?

The correct layout is this

4648 Inver Grove Heights Public Works Common
4650 Lakeville Public Works Common
4652 Lakeville Public Works S1
4654 Lakeville Public Works S2
4656 Lakeville Public Works U1
4658 Lakeville Public Works U2

Don't know what the S and U stand for

My vote is for "Streets" and "Utilities".

http://www.ci.lakeville.mn.us/index....=42&Itemid=416

It does also make me wonder if any of the other cities in Dakota County have a similar public works talkgroups lineup beyond the usual:

DK XX PW 1

DK XX PW 2

DK XX COM

Certainly cities like Burnsville and Eagan might be worth listening to a bit closer just to make sure that the radio traffic being monitored matches up to the talkgroup name.

DOES EVERYONE AGREE THIS IS CORRECT BEFORE I ADJUST THE DB ?
ALSO THAT LEAVES IGH WITH NO TALKGROUPS ???

The correct layout is this

4648 Inver Grove Heights Public Works Common
4650 Lakeville Public Works Common
4652 Lakeville Public Works S1
4654 Lakeville Public Works S2
4656 Lakeville Public Works U1
4658 Lakeville Public Works U2

Don't know what the S and U stand for

S is streets, U is utilities
Is IGH still using UHF 453.4250 for there streets dept, I know in Hennepin county some cities stayed on conventional for DPW. I checks the IGH license for 453.4250 and it is nb and the contact number is for the streets dept, I can get some static on it at my location but can not get enough signal to confirm who it is.

I will do some more listening. Even if Inver Grove Heights is still using 453.425, they would still have talkgroups allocated on ARMER. They seemed to allocate them alphabetically by city name, so it is possible that Inver Grove Heights is actually:

4644 DK IG PW 1
4646 DK IG PW 2
4648 DK IG COM

Talkgroup 4666 was just active and there is no doubt in my mind that it is:
