Default Home patrol

Does anyone in SE Mn use the home patrol? Is it worth the money or would I be better off getting something different?(i.e. BCD996XT, PRO197) That I woulsd have to program.

Either the BCD996 or Home Patrolw ould work well for you. You might find the HP-1 to be easier to use.

With the HP1 if you have a computer to down load changes will take about 2 minutes. If you change areas or visit someplace all you need to do is punch in the zip code and with in 2 minutes you have everyhting you want in that area. with the 996 or the 396 you have to do it by hand for each area.

You chose which is better.

Q: Is it Mac compatible?
A: No. Drive your hybrid down to the store and get a real computer.

True, but at ~$460 (459.99) vs 489.00, it would likely still be less, even with shipping on a web order. (ScannerMaster's free ground shipping would narrow the margin.)
