Default AVR Inc Motorola Trunked System

I was looking for AVR Inc Motorola Trunked System in the Uniden Home Patrol HP-1 and I did not find it. So, I decided to snoop around and see if they still exist. I checked here AVR Concrete - Arden Hills Trunking System, Arden Hills, Minnesota - Scanner Frequencies but it only listed two frequencies. Next, I checked the FCC and it lists five for the Burnsvile Heather Hills site. I programmed it in and there is a control channel on 857.8125, but I have yet to hear ANY activity. Does anybody here happen to listen to this system? Maybe it is only for their own use at this point. It seems like years ago they rented airtime on their system.

856.8125

857.8125

858.8125

859.8125

860.8125

AVR, Inc - Ready-Mix Concrete and More in Minnesota!

ULS License - SMR, 806-821/851-866 MHz, Trunked License - WNJV747 - AVR INC - Frequencies Summary

AVR Concrete - Arden Hills Trunking System, Arden Hills, Minnesota - Scanner Frequencies

Also, there is the listing for AVR at Arden Hills. Does anybody happen to know if this site is active? The FCC shows it is current.

My own though is looking the address up in google maps it may be a "place holder" for the license as there are no commercial towers and the address is in a residential neighborhood.

I was actually listening a few weeks ago to see if these systems were still on the air, a few years ago I remember getting activity on both the Burnsville tower and the AH tower. I did hear some voice traffic on the Burnsville tower about 2 weeks ago, but got nothing from AH.

If you mean 13500 Heather Hills Dr, that is a City Of Burnsville water tower. I think it brings in a fair amount of money for the city for site rental.

Also, it does display

you get pretty decent service from the Mall of America parking ramp... not that I would have ever sat in my car and ran UniTrunker for 20 minutes last summer, because that would be totally nerdy...

Q: Is it Mac compatible?
A: No. Drive your hybrid down to the store and get a real computer.

NDRADIONUT,

Can you get that system added to Home Patrol database? Or should we wait and see if there actually is any trafic on it first?

If I remember correctly the system AVR used was either a Privacy Plus or Type 2i hybrid system.

I thought I remember hearing something at one time about AVR buying the system and deactivating the Arden Hills site.

Decoded control channel this afternoon but no voice traffic. Interesting thing was by Southdale mall got enough for my 396 to know it was a control channel but no ID decode, but in downtown Minneapolis I was getting clean control channel reception and ID decode of B404h but no sign of the Arden Hills system.

Well, it is 10 below zero here. Not much concrete being poured!! AVR is definitely still in business, so maybe they use data terminals and not much voice?

I was not expecting to hear any concrete being moved today. In the past AVR had leased space on there system to other businesses, I was figuring if I heard much of any traffic today it would have been leased users.
