Looking to see if anyone has compared these or has any experience if one of these handles Metro ARMER and the multipath issues better then the other.

I know you are looking to compare the Uniden model to the Whistler models, but FWIW:

I've used Uniden BC 796D, 396T, 396XT, 996T, 996XT and both the 436 and 536 to monitor the Minnesota ARMER system in the Twin Cities over the years. The x36 scanners are far and away better at dealing with the multipath distortion than the others.

That's good to hear. I'd much more used to Uniden's programming then the GRE/Whistler so that was a plus.

If you end up getting a 536 or 436, let me know. I can send you a programming file for the Metro area (or at least parts of it) which could get you off to a start.

I just bought a 536 this evening, Any chance you would be willing to share your programming file?

I'll be happy to. Send me a PM with an e-mail address and I'll send you a couple of HPE files that you can import into Sentinel.
