To be on the safe side, I would enter the Saltillo site as well as the Tupelo site. Just enter each site seperate and give it a try.

Tupelo 856.26250 857.26250 858.26250 859.26250 860.26250c
Saltillo 856.98750 857.98750 858.98750 859.98750 860.98750c

Both carry the same thing, so whichever one gives you the clearest reception.

Use CC only mode. It works better. Whatever site your scanner receives better will be what you hear. BTW.. do we have all CC's and alt CC's in the db yet? If not someone with a capable scanner or that can run Universal Trunker, or Trunk88 on it please do so and submit all the data. TY!

Put BOTH sites in and just the CC's for each site.. And as you travel (roam lol) youll pick up whichever site is the best for your location (Similar to how the actual radios on the system do it.)

Ok, so put both sites in two separate banks, or the same bank? Also, what abt the ids?

You can do it iether way, separate banks, or both in one bank and place all the tg's you want to monitor in that bank.. or banks.... Once all the CC's are known CC only will be the best way to monitor this TRS... Apparantely we dont have all the CC's yet, so if you lose the signal it may be because the CC's rotated.... So let me readvise you on this lol... Place both complete sites in separate banks, load all the tg's in each bank and scan away.... *Again guys we need the alternate CC's and other data on this system*

OK just to clarify... On the LCTRS- Until all CC's are known for BOTH sites, program both sites into the scanner in separate "banks". Place all the talkgroups you wish to hear in both "banks". Once all the CC's are known then it will work best to program both sites in CC only mode in the same "bank" with a space between the sets of CC's.... Also note this system is slated for rebanding in the next couple of years.

Even though my manual says one trunked system per bank, should I still put both systems in the same bank? (

Also, What if I just put all the site frequencies in a bank without using trunking? Could I still pick up the tupelo fire dept, Tupelo, PD, Lee Co Sheriff? & would I have to set each freq to MO (motorola) instead of FM?

To follow the conversations on an trunked radio system the freqs must be set for trunking and the proper trunked format. In this case MOT for Motorola 3600 kbps analog system. When using CC only you may have multiple sites of the SAME system in an single bank with an space between each set of CC's. The Tupelo/Lee County System is one of the oldest in the state. There are several talkgroups that we do not have in our database yet, as no one has updated us with info in a long time.

Most likely all of them... LCSO is using more than just ONE tg... No one has documented it yet, but no way do they just have the one dispatch and no tactical or special ops or anything else... TFD... no firegrounds???? Realistically there should be at least two firegrounds for TFD. Once someone has time to really monitor this system they will find not only the alternate CC's, connect tone, and that data,... But will discover at least four to five unlisted tg's.... Maybe a lot more than that. Lee County fire.. where are the firegrounds??? TPD 3 car to car and 1 tac... Somethings slightly off there.... Youll find all kinds of new data when you monitor it.

Milf, I have found about 14 talkgroups that aren't listed in the database. However I don't know for sure what they are. Some are used rarely, and some a bit more often. I tried Unitrunker and haven't had any luck with it at all so far. I'm using a Pro-106 and using the data cable, which is says will work, but I can't get it to do a thing. If I could figure it out, it might help in finding out the info you wanted. lol

Hey bamma you may have to play with the settings some on UT.... Com Port etc.....
There is a new release coming for UT very soon.
I am not familiar with the 106 sysops yet, and would love to play with one one day lol... Do those display Connect Tone, or alt cc data without the use of software???

They show CT onscreen

I been playing with UT and my 106/197 the last day or two. They work great together. UT is a bear to learn to manage with all the freaking separate windows IMO.

Be sure you're COM port setting in devive manager match what you radio setting are. 115200, 8, N, 1. Might wanna check the flow control settings to. I use mine with it set to "NONE".

Make sure you scroll down and select the type of system(s) you want to decode in the radio setup too.

You think UT is fun wait till you learn T88 lol I love it as it does seem to show more data on some things than UT... So I use all three... T88 UT, and Pro96Com.... If the LTR systems were active here I would run LTRAnalyzer too lol... I may try 2tonedecoder soon to log the tones for the various FD's here just for info and to learn how that works.... One of the few things I have not really been interested in too much til now.
