does anybody know if the prison has changed freqs.they were transmitting on 853.8125 i know longer hear them,did they go project 25.there still listed at this freq.but i hear no traffic

I will look into any new licenses... They also were listed for VHF if I remember right...

OK added the missing repeater freq.. they use both.. If you could submit any tone information it would be greatly appreciated. TY

milf what is the other freq.i dont hear nothing ive got a pro 528 an im 5 miles away and i dont get anything,ive got 853.8125 programed in but im not getting nothing.my old scanner had it programed in it when i got it.i had to put it on this new 1,what did i do wrong i dont see where to program tone into it,help a hillbilly out,its a radio shack pro 528.whats the vhf freq,is this a trunked system is it e1,e2uhf,e2hi,e2 900,e2 800,le,edsce,ed?im confused i cant seem to find them anymore my old 1 fell out the truck an got busted into pieces its of no use.

Its added to the MS Greene Co Listing for the prison. It is conventional 800 MHz, though ALL MDOC units also have the M/A-Comm EDACS radios for the TRS , and VHF capabilities for interop, and for use at MDOC facilities using VHF. ALL DOC ops will be moving to the MWIN once it is completed. Most of the satellite facilities statewide are on VHF Hi, with the GC regional facility using 800 Conventional, and the CMSP, the Whitfield DOC ops, Parchmann, and the Jackson Restitution Centers, and Probation/Parole Ops on the EDACS TRS. I believe that all the VHF Lo Ops have been abandoned.
