They have been all over the place. Troop K, Several State and Regional SE's, Unified Command, along with their secret handshake club encrypted BS. Seems it is the preffered channel today.

TG 13 seems to be a few State Fire Marshalls giving MSWIN a try. Heard mention of buying radios too, so I assume that means permanent radios and a future permanent TG.
Again I'll point out these old 2 digit FEMA TG's aren't assigned to any specific agency and are now just there in some event issued radios and for testing purposes, so literally anyone could show up on one of them.

I wondered if it was the Fire Marshall. The call signs were FM-1 and FM-13.

13602 - Seems the State Fire Marshalls got their permanent gear and at least one permanent TG now.
RID's in the 1440xx and 1445xx ranges. I assume the 4th digit being 5 is portables, same a several other agencies.

Add 13600 and 13606 to the list now too. Only "FM-#" callsigns heard on any of them so far, but I would venture a guess this will be a block of channels for the entire MS Insurance Dept. Probably like most others, a common, a tactical (or 2), a car-car, and possibly an admin, or something along those lines. Also they've been seen in both FDMA and TDMA modes too. Which I guess stands to reason for a smaller agency like this. (compared to something like MDOT or MHP)

13604 now logged too. Seems the circle may now be complete for them.

13608 - A fifth, and I would venture to guess final, MS Insurance Dept./Fire Marshall TG logged.

These new TGs started showing up on Natchez south tower today, 13600, 14151. Also got hit over the weekend from 65180. Can't say that I've heard any voice transmissions, they've just started affiliating on Pro96Com.

The 121xx, 131xx, and 141xx blocks seem to be all encyrpted, and I suspect they belong to MBI. No real evidence of that though, other than it's about the only thing that makes sense. The 65xxx block are Feds.
Interesting about the patches. I know sometimes announcements seem to go out system wide on some F&W channels, Central A seems the most popular for this, and maybe that's how they are going about that. Have heard these types of announcements mostly during weather events. Though there has been a few other non-weather related announcements too.

Not sure why, but several F&W units from all over the state are here on the coast today, and affiliated on the Fountainbleau site. Getting traffic on almost all A and B channels. Good news is it should force most comms into FDMA mode for the duration. (though ironically there is rarely a district 6 unit affiliated on South B so most of my district's comms are TDMA only from Vancleave or Benndale. go figure..)
23653 and 23655 submitted as North A & B respectively.

MHP Zone 2 TG's

MHP B-82 just keyed up 13051 encrypted. Think it's pretty safe to say the 1305x block is strapped for encryption. All TG's logged in that block:
13051
13053
13055
13057
13059
1307x is another block of MHP TG's from which I've had the occasional in the clear hit on. Mostly on 13075 with a trooper trying to contact their dispatch, on the wrong channel.
13073
13075
13077
13079
(have yet to log 13071, but I suspect it may exist as well.

Ok, if you heard unit B-82, that would have been an MBI agent assigned to Greenwood (Dist. 2). Since the traffic was encrypted, it would lead me to believe that we're looking here at TG's designated to MBI. All MBI units (B-Boys) have distinct charecteristics, being the last number in the unit, is the District to which they are assigned. Very similar to designations for Motor Carrier (U-union) units. So you've probably stumbled upon TG's for MBI. Hopefully all of their traffic want be encrypted, but probably will.

You may be right but I still think the aforementioned 121xx, 131xx, and 141xx TG blocks are the dedicated MBI, agency wide TG's. I think your initial assessment of the 1305x block being Spec Ops type channels is spot on. During hurricane Isaac that 13053 had all types of MHP units on it from many districts. Looking back on it, I'd venture a guess for some kind of detail for Governor Bryant as he was moving around the area maybe.

13600 - Starting to hear some LCG callsigns now too. Liquefied Compressed Gas I'm assuming, which stays within the Fire Marshall's Office still.

54313 - Somebody was bouncing around most of the sites in range of me on this TG last week. No clue who though. There were a few key ups but none of which I recorded anything intelligible from. Throwing this out there as a possible starting place for Lamar County maybe if nothing else. No idea why someone from there would be driving around Jackson and George counties with it though LOL.

Some A&L Theft guys were just trying to talk another of their agents through how to switch his radio to their Car-Car and TAC channels without any success.
I did capture a channel change, by affiliation only, to 13997 though. No idea which of the two channels mentioned it is though. First time I've seen an agency with a descending hierarchy of TGID's too. (13999 - CMN, 13997 - C-C/TAC/???, etc.)
LT-818 was on site 144 btw, no idea where the others were though.

6518x block of TGID's are USDA Forest Service TG's. They also have access to, and use MDWFP TG's and vice versa. Forest Service units use FS# callsigns and RID's are 7 digits.(seemingly in the 1010xxx block)
(also FYI the 65xxx block is where any/all fed tg's will be)
