Smile Poplar Bluff city Police Tactical frequency?

Has anyone ran accross this frequency? I have been searching with no luck, on my Uniden Bct15 but, if it is a digital freq. I guess I am wasting my time. If anyone does find it would you please post it? Thank You!

Try listening on 155.475 and 158.970.

Those frequencies are listed on the license WPWD880 with the main dispatch frequency. Both are listed as narrow band FM voice, not digital.

I also submitted the current license to the database since the old license is listed in the database currently.

still no luck, 155.475 got no hits at all and, the 158.97mhz seems to be the same as the regular 155.55mhz. city police channel with the dispatch coming in good all the time but, car to dispatch sometimes comes in weak and noisy. I don't know where they are switching to tac. at lol!

The 155.475 is a Mutual Aid frequency reserved for many different agencies so it more than likely wont be it. There are several things to try.

Have you entered the trunked systems MOArk or Battles Rombauer tower to see if they are using a commercial LTR system talkgroup?

Also I pickup some encrypted traffic on 408.2375 NAC 293 its possibly the John J Pershing VA hospital but they might be using it. It is digital and is sometimes encrypted sometimes not. You might check for activity after they say "Go to Tac".

Have you tried 453.4875 and 458.4875 with a PL 100.0? There's an open carrier sound and 155.550 can be heard here.

What about 453.3625, 453.6375, 458.3625, 458.63750000 anything here?

These are a few suggestions, I will try these myself to see what i can find.

Isn't that 155.475 Mutual Aid channel used nationwide?

Question

Well, while searching it stopped on 155.95mhz when they said go to tac. I programmed that frequency in to my scanner and it goes there every time they say go to tac. all i hear though is bursts of static with an occasional beep now and then. also, sometimes it just stops on that freq. with a bunch of very clear sounding beeps that last 3-5 seconds. Any ideas anyone? Thanks!
